Choosing a project
My first day in shop class the instructor said choose a project to complete during this semester. I knew I wanted to learn to do wood working but I had no idea what woodworking projects l wanted to undertake. I looked through various woodworking magazines in search of a project that 1, interested me and 2, fell somewhere within my limited skill range. I finally found the plans for a magazine rack that held not only magazines but two rolls of toilet paper. Not only useful but practical as well. Now that I have been doing woodworking for a while there are no end of projects lined up for me by my family and friends.
