High Gas Prices are Driving up the Demand for Small Used Cars
As the price of gas continues rise the demand for small used cars is also going up. A study by the National Automobile Dealers Association, J.D. Power and Associates has found that the new demand for smaller used cars is increasing their average price. Overall, the small used car market has risen two percent since last year with the biggest jump in smaller used Toyota cars, which saw an increase of over seven percent in the same time period. Smaller models of Honda and Ford have also seen an increase within the last month, with the used Civic prices up almost three percent and the used Focus just over one percent.
