A Bag of Magic Tricks
Some hold the contention that free will is non-existent in our both naturalistic and religious world. The effects of nature cannot be controlled. Outside intervention is always shaping our decisions and choices in the manifestation of nature. It follows that if nature contributes to our decision making process and it cannot be controlled, then our choices are born of necessity and not free will and is no bag of magic tricks. It can also be argued that if an all-powerful God created this world and its inhabitants, we are subject to his whims. Humans were created in the context that this God dictates and follow the path created by this God. Thus, our actions are not derived or pure free will and we cannot be held responsible for them.
