Advertising Not Always The Key To Sales

What are really the web traffic secrets for getting your web page hits? They’re not necessarily in advertising. I know from personal experience that I am one of the 85% of web searchers who ignore paid listings when looking to answer a personal question through a search engine. Why do I do that? Even though the answer to my question might eventually end with me purchasing some sort of product or service, I rarely initially click on paid listings because I’m looking for an answer, not a sales pitch. Even if I do eventually initiate a sale, it’s because I’ve been made to feel like the creator of the website truly cares about his product and the people that use it, not just their money.
