Finding a new recruit

In the not too distant past, if you wanted to hire someone, you’d sort through recent unsolicited resumes, run a classified ad in the local paper, post a referral notice on the company bulletin board, and call it a day. Executive search firms have established a web presence, advertising positions that they have been hired to recruit for. Theirs is perhaps the most targeted approach, as they have the luxury of being well paid to fill a relatively small number of positions. Honesty is important when you are posting your experiences and abilities. Just because they can’t see you doesn’t mean you can get away with lying on your resume.
