It is now common to utilize the  VOIP Telephone System  for overseas communication. The system is especially common among multi national companies that outsource their work. The VOIP telephone system is essentially a protocol. The protocol used for VOIP telephone system is optimized for the transmission of voice through the internet or through other kinds of networks. VOIP telephone system is a term often used abstractly also to refer to the actual transmission of voice (rather than the protocol implementing it). This latter concept is also referred to as IP telephony also. Internet telephony and voice over broadband are the other commonly used terms to refer to this system.
