What is the forex?
The term Forex to many is still a term that makes no sense. Is it a word or is it a term? What exactly is a Forex? Well Forex is short for foreign exchange and its a term used to describe the foreign exchange trade market. Its a way of betting on how the worlds currencies will change. If the American dollar for example were to spike up and become worth more than the euro then you could have bet on this (its not called a bet I use this term loosely to keep it layman terms) change and would have won money based on how many people also bet on or against it.
