We bought a new thumb spica that had a weird pattern to it. It could be arranged to be a normal thumb spica as one pattern, or as a different type of splint for the hand in another. This thumb spica splint pattern could be used as multiple types of hand or wrist splints. It was a bargain when we bought it because of its multi-functionality. This thumb spica was also reusable, so it could last a while.

The rare condition of barrett's esophagus has happened to few people across the globe. Unfortunately there has been no cure found for this condition yet. Also people who have developed this disease are at a higher risk for a rare destructive cancer that will kill you. My sister had this condition and had to have surgery. She so far has not developed the cancer and for that I am thankful.
