How to Do the Splits

If you want to be able to do the splits then you will need to know a few things before you start.  For one, flexibility needs to be coupled with strength to get the best results.  Most people do not realize that you need strength to be flexible.  In Elastic Steal, a book by Paul Zaichik, he shows how to get flexible as well as stronger.  After all what is the use of flexibility if you do not have the strength to go with it?

If you are looking for a way to get flexible then I recommend you start with a full body stretch not just the splits.
