A Way to Keep the Downstairs Neighbors from Complaining
Our downstairs neighbors are always complaining about hearing us walking around at all hours, and especially about the kids running around. But we didn’t really know what we could do about it. We tried to keep our shoes off, but couldn’t do anything about the times of the day when we were getting ready to go out or just coming inside. Now I have heard about floating cork flooring from a friend of mine, and I am going to try it. He says it really helps insulate against noise, and would make things much quieter for our downstairs neighbors, so we wouldn’t always be bothering them.
