Remember your first apartment? I do.

The first apartment I rented, as cheap as it was, still strained my meager budget to breaking. Because of this, I had very little money for furniture.

So I decorated in a style my mother likes to call, “Early Dorm Room”. Yes, I ate on a big, round coffee table, which doubled as my desk.

Needless to say, instead of a bed and mattress, I had the compulsory futon. And would any apartment be complete without bookshelves made of boards supported by painted bricks?

It wasn’t very original, but it was home for a few years, and sometimes, not often, I even miss it.
