My family bought a house in North Carolina a few years ago. My husband and I had over 75 pine trees removed and were left with an un level rocky mess. We had it graded and seeded but after much watering and more seeding we were tired of the bare patches and weeds. The ground is hard clay and veer hard to grow anything. so we dug it up and laid turf grass down. The grass did beautifully with just some watering. We loved it so much we put turf in back as well. Somehow it just did better then the seed.
