Some people have suggested that the styles you see in a christchurch wedding venue leave much to be desired. For one thing, the Christchurch sense of dress goes for the casual. I’ve been looking at someone blog saying she went to a wedding recently where one of the guests turned up in black shorts and a ‘best’ black Tee shirt. While another person, a work mate of the under-dressed, truly casual, guest, wore a suit he had had tailor made in Singapore. So that would be the whole range. I think one reason a wedding can attract such a range of dress here in Christchurch is that the wedding venues here are often outdoors, or have a garden component in them. I know our daughter’s wedding last year included gracious lawns for the afternoon tea.
