I wanted to learn how an Excavator Simulator  works and what it accomplishes. It sounded a high science proposition to me!  When I spoke to a Simulations expert, he told me that the whole operation of an excavator is packed into an interactive drive in movie.  For enhanced user-friendly features, some prototypes for joystick, lever etc were also provided.  All that the user had to do was to download the movie and practice the operation of the excavator.  As I listened to him with my mouth wide open, he kept on reemphasizing that this was one of the best ways on how excavator operators should be trained.
